Belated as always....

Happy belated Christmas lovelies!!

Hope you've all had an ab fab time and got super delicious things!!

I'm currently at home and have forgotten to bring my SLR with me, so I'm left to taking iPhone photos.. not the best but they'll do and shall all be uploaded when I get back to Cardiff!

I have been working all of the Christmas period which is complete minus craic (the life of a nurse) but it wasn't the worst so i shan't complain! Glad to be home now and living it up with my beautiful family!
On Christmas eve, I, along with my wonderful housemates opened our presents to and from each other! Amaze night! I got a beautiful Barbour, some delicious leather gloves, 2 h.bags and other bits and bobs. I promise that when I get back to normality I shall upload all of the photos of everything!!

Since I've got home, I've got some more beautiful things from the fam, and a new bottle of Coco Madamoiselle! Delish!!!

I'm gona try to remember to take some photos of my time at home and NYR number 1 is to be a better blogger and actually do more!! Hope it works out! Ha!

What's in my make up bag...!

So, title is pretty much what this post holds... I blogged about it and now finally getting round to do it!!

 

From doing this post, I've realised that:

1. Basically, I have a lota stuff that prob needs chucked!! 

2. I LOVE eyeliner more than I realised!

3. I also love lipstick more than I realised!

Now for the basics that I wear mostly on a daily basis....

1. "Bad Gal" Mascara- I used to always use this then "they're real" came out and i moved to it. I use this (dried up) wand to fill in my brows...
2. "They're Real" Mascara- Benefit
3. Rimmel crayon eyeliner- black
4. Liquid eyeliner, Benefit- magical! Creates a fab, even line!
5. Elizabeth Arden Double Wear Light- unreal stuff! I'm not one for re applying make up throughout the day and this has good staying power
6. Sun shimmer- light matte. If i was doing developing tan it would be White 2 Brown.
7. Topshop lippy- big fan of red shades so i would normally wear reds
8. Collection 2000 loose powder
9. Guerlain Bronzer for "brunettes"
10. A pink blush I've had for ages and cant remember the name!

So that's it lovelies.. a peek inside my make up bag.. not overly exciting!

Gona pick up the pieces....and finally post!

TWO WEEKS... TWO WEEKS!!! My goodness- i have been sooooooooo bloody boring!!
So over the past 2 weeks... i have been:

1. working- hugely unattractive uniform
2. drinking and dancing- outfits to follow
3. shopping- too many presents for me..

4. eating out too much!

Again, been working a mixture of days and nights, explaining why my life is complete minus craic!
Though, i have been out twice which i suppose is something... first of all was a very drunken night out with 2 of my lovely friends. Wore a pink (very unlike me) dress from Topshop with some gold bling..

Second night out was also a very drunken affair...works Christmas party! I got some delicious new shoes from H&M (photos to follow in next post) which were the most comfortable EVER..but for comfort.. i ended up with manny a blister (I'm gona blame all my dancing on that thou).

I wore a fabulous dress I picked up in Miss Selfridge.. completely last minute as I was scouring the rails of practically everywhere in town and found NOTHING! Then came across this beauty just before I gave up!

Shopping- too much money that i dont have to spend was spent on myself... Christmas shopping tomorrow, so NO presents for me! (though i do need a new outfit for the bloggers meet!! HA!) Shall do a post tomorrow with all my recent purchases..

While browsing the rails in Toppers, I saw this beauty....

I will be wearing this if i ever meet Prince Harry..or Harry Styles! YUMM!!

As said, I've been eating out quite a bit.. been very bad at photographing it... too busy eating it!! (NOM)
As from today thou.. serious healthy eating needs to kick in! Im going home in 2 weeks (YEAH!!) and i cannot be a whale! While out for lunch with the girls in Cowbridge last week, i was very "Emmerdale" chic..(purely cuz i was wearing Barbour..) agreed? HA!

Shall do recent purchase post tomorrow.. for now its off to lie up in my onesie.. with my blanket and a hot water bottle cuz it's bloody freeeeeeeezin!!

Oh what a beautiful day... for staying in bed!!!

Hello lovelies!!

So currently, I am still in bed! Lazy dog!! Though not entirely fair, as i did potted about the house for a short period this morning then hopped back underneath the sheets as its far too rainy and cold to be doing anything strenuous! The rest of my morning/ afternoon has been spent creeping over blogs and lusting after everything on the toppers website! why oh why am i not rich!?!

I have also purchased my ticket to the bloggers meet in Bristol! EEK! very excited!! and cant wait to meet some lovely bloggers! The lovely Kate Louise and I have been emailed re the planned events, thus increasing my excitement even more!! Off work the weekend, so I hope to have a looksie in town for a suitable outfit! I know i only bought new outfits 2 weeks ago, still with tags on... BUT it is a bloggers meet, so obvs i need something new! Ha! Any1 going/ know what they're wearing?

If i do move from bed today, I shall try and do something exciting/ take some outfit photos....it's been ages!!
Also, thinking about a "whats in my make up bag" post.. love reading them, so think i'll try my own!!

Abso loving Snow Patrol atm..always have, but even more so.. here's a lovely video to lose youself in!

Blah blah blah..............

Hello lovelies!

My goodness... i feel so bloody boring these days! All i seem to be doing is working or sleeping!! Seriously need some proper time off!! Off work today and have had a throughly fabulous day cleaning- i do love cleaning so today has been in no ways wasted! but i yearn to do something fun!! Also, been working a mixture of day and night shifts, so that again screws up any sociable plans!!
Such a rant!!!!

But anyways.. on to something nicer... I have a lovely week off next week, which will be spent shopping, drinking dancing (work christmas party) and just having some lovely days off work! Two weeks ago, i bought 5 new outfits.. yes 5, from shoes to accessories!!. I go mad when I'm finally let loose to shop! So far i've been able to wear one! NOT FAIR! So over the course of the next week, i hope to give all 5 a whirl and take lots of photos...

Gona do my christmas wish list up and also book my ticket to the bloggers christmas party!! The lovely Kate Louise has kindly said i can tag along,  travel with her to Bristol for the big night out! #excited!!! Need to decide on an outfit now!! Eek!! As i'm new to the whole blogging things, this is very daunting!! Any suggestions on outfits??

NOTD

Never was a fan of falsies and then i came across the ever so stylish Gem's tip on some falsie nail art and was hooked.... 

First up.. chosen falsie stuck to ear buds with white tack.. These nails are from a set of 100 i got from Boots.. Handy!

 Next step: Paint with chosen base. This is a lovely one from Topshop- i love the coverage from these..some colours do need 2 coats, but this is only one coat!

Next step: I painted some of the fabulous glittery OPI varnish from "the Muppets" collection.

I forgot to get some photos of putting them on and filing them down, but they can be seen in the previous blog post..

Lazy Tuesday....

Hello darlings!

Happy Tuesday... i LOVE days off! but sadly, this is my last before i go back to the joys of work tomorrow! :( boo! cue setting my alarm for 06.08.. very precise, i know! I have my morning routine down to a T and do not like any deviation from the norm!

On my lovely week off, I have been lounging, shopping, drinking and catching up with friends.. all in all, a fabulous week was had! Yes- more shopping!! Can anyone help me STOP!? Please!! But as soon as i walk in to Toppers, i immediately want EVERYTHING in sight!! Oh to be Chloe Green... sigh!!

So, as previously mentioned- I had a night on the tiles on Saturday with some of my lovely friends.. I wore a playsuit from Topshop and some New Look heels!

Can just about see my nails in this photo.. i painted some falsies..first with a lovely topshop green base then the Muppets OPI glitter polish! Shall post those photos after!

I've also just finished a lovely Skpye session with one of my very good friends who is living it up in Oz!! Miss you millions Alicia!!  And now I'm off to enjoy my last day off, with a very lazy day watching Harry Potter DVD's for the duration and having some homemade soup in my onesie!

Topshop treats!

Hello lovelies!

Hope you are fabulous! Came home from work yesterday evening to find a note saying that I had a parcel left with my next door neighbours...having only moved last week, I was really hoping that my neighbours were lovely and wouldn't try to keep my Topshop treats! Luckily enough-she was lovely! handed it straight over it the lovely polka dot wrapping!
I bought these gorgeous shorts and this fab tee and a few other bits and bobs of accessories..all in all, a lovely parcel to come home to!
Also, i have a week off work which makes it even better!!

This weekend, my 2 housemates and I are all having a night out in town! We all haven't been out properly in Cardiff in MONTHS!! What with work, and holidays and trips home, but this weekend is gona be epic! Total glam up affair- nails, lashes, new outfits! Can't wait! We also have a friend coming down from London and a few other friends in Cardiff joining the party!! Strange how excited I am for a night out! HA! Cue lots of photos, dancing, gin and lols!!

I shall take (hopefully!) lots of outfit posts and general lol moments and blog all with a delightful hangover on sunday! :)

Musings from home...

2 posts in one day...not to annoy, but because i've been a bad blogger and want to over-compensate/ bore you all!

I was back in lovely Ireland a few weeks back for my gorgeous niece's 1st Birthday! Had a fab time at home and was so nice to see everyone! My mum and dad were attempting to take some blog photos (see, i didn't forget) but weather/ bad lighting/ background issues meant proper outfit photos are limited!!

 First up, this is my 2 beautiful nieces and myself, then some dodgy attempts at outfit posts, then the birthday girl and me in our matching leopard prints and finally, Edith and myself (looking very yellow- damn you iPhone)

 

 

So these photos leave a lot to be desired... i must try harder when i'm home but i get too distracted by my gorgeous babes!!! Think all of what i'm wearing is from topshop..apart from the blazer (new look) and the hat (primark)

Off to try and cull my wardrobe now! :(

Happy Movember!

This is my lovely Mo ring- fitting since it's Movember!!

Lovelies.. oh my! Yet another post about how long it's been since my last post!! I need to get back to this...but then again...is anyone actually reading/caring what i'm putting on here?! Oh well... i shall ramble on anyways...

Hope you've all been fabulous and buying lots of gorgeous things! Last week, I moved house.. so I'm gona use that as my excuse reason for blogging so sporadically! Goodness- it was such a nightmare!! Packing up a years worth of new purchases along with my already exisiting stuffed wardrobes was such a task! I also came to the conclusion that a major cull is needed! I've less wardrobe space in my new house compared to my last place, so that is also why i need to cull! :(
Good news re this: EXCUSE FOR SHOPPING!! YESSS!!

Was in Topshop yesterday evening and they had a "late night event".... free cider (which was delish! cinnamon, apple and strawberry i think i chose) free nail painting, goodie bags and a DJ... was a nice surprise considering i was just heading in for new leggings!

Spotted these boots that i need in my life!! And a plethora of other things..again, why can i not be rich!?!

Has anyone bought anything lovely recently that i can lust after?! moving house has seriously cut down my shopping budget!! :(

Hello lovelies! My oh my, its been agessssssssssss since i've posted!! #boringlife... #workingtoomuch!!

But anyways...since my last post i've bought too much stuff considering i'm supposed to be saving and moving house!! I just cant resist Topshop! Got some fab faux pony skin leopard print boots, a leopard print skater dress, some new leggings with the leather side panels, glittery brogues, chelsea brogues, a blazer.. and many more that i need to start getting outfit posts for!!

I was home 2 weekends ago and had a great time with lots of delish cocktails..

This is one of them.. which i got named after me! (probably already named and the barman was looking a tip!!) It basically involved gin, malibu and fruit juices! yum!!

After a cocktail filled afternoon, we got ready for a night on the tiles! No proper outfit photos were taken but here's a shot of a few of us enjoying pre drinks!! My purple dress is from Topshop...

Going home this weekend again for my niece, Beth's 1st Birthday! #cannotwait!!! I must ensure to make an effort to take outfit posts!! I got Beth a cute little leopard print dress thats similar to one i own, so i'll get a mini me photo!

But i must go pack now as so far in my case i have 2 pairs of boots and nothing else!!

OOTD...

Can't remember when i wore this outfit.. but it was a day last week when i went to town with the girls for a late lunch/early dinner...

 

This dress is a bit ancient now.. got in Primarni either last year or the year before, but i love a good bit of black and polka dots so never got rid of it.. also, sleeves are always a winner on a dress for me!! The hat is also from Primark (seen in a previous post), leggings- topshop, brogues- river island, watch- portobello road stall.

Off to get ready for some serious shopping!! I'll blog what i buy!

Fab (tom) Ford!!

Hello lovelies!!

Gosh, it's been a while... mainly due to the fact that I've just finished EIGHT 12 hour shifts in a row!! Have a lovely day to myself today and was planning on having such a lie in.. but alas... no such luck! Been awake since 5.30 AM!!! FML! Good in a way, as i've caught up on cleaning and can now attend to my blog before i hit up town!! #CANNOTWAITFORTOPSHOP!!!!!

So, in my last blog i mentioned about the lovely Tom Ford lippy i was wearing...

Review: Basically, AMAZING is the appropriate description!!

 

The packaging is glorious... i love white and gold and the gold plate also doubles up as a make-shift handy mirror! BONUS! The coverage is fabulous and the staying power is also amaze! All in all i would defo recommend it... it is pricey for a lippy, being slightly more that £30... but defo defo worth it for killer lips!!

Anyone tried any other amaze lippies with good staying power?? Can't wait to get into some autumnal berry shades!!

Super Saturday- OOTD

Hello lovelies!

So yesterday, I went to town with some friends for shopping...seen some gorge things that are on the list for pay day next week! :) There was also a lovely Italian market that we went a bit wild on.. feeling continental so had to buy something of everything! (made for a delish hangover picnic today thou). Following our splurge, we felt the need to go for one drink.........which turned into a lot more than 1! Random day of good fun. Bon Voyage, Blogs and Banter!!

Gosh, it's been a while since my last post..... one reason for the slack posts is due to a "surprise visit" home last weekend! One of my very good friends moved to Oz with her bf yesterday, so last weekend was the leaving party! I had initially said I couldn't go due to work, but thanks to a lovely work mate I got a swop and made it home! Cue ballons, cake, dancing, gin and goodbye tears! It was a fabulous leaving party and I'm glad I made it home! (will miss you millions Alicia!!!)

Since I've got back from home I've been working.. now i have 4 lovely days off and so far today I've agreed the let on our new house! Woo! I ventured into the estate agents a few days ago, explained what we were looking and luckily enough the guy had a perfect sounding house, with pretty good pictures to match!! Had a viewing yesterday and paid the deposit today! How exciting!! Can't wait to pack up my things now!! (get a good clear out of my wardrobes)


Rest of this afternoon has been spent catching up on blogs and all the LFW vlogs, blogs and posts! All amazing!! Had some serious lolz at Gem and Lily on Gem's vlog of LFW. Also, Sarah Harding at the Look show= amaze!!!


Got the usual topshop update email! oh how i swooned all over the gorge limited edition dresses. I want at least 4! Oh to be rich!!

Haven't been shopping in a few weeks so might hit up town tomorrow..just to have a little look! Been looking for a nice black semi casual dress.. fingers crossed!
Much banter to be had this weekend as a few of us are off work together (which very rarely happens) so updates later!!

Oh what a Manic Monday...

Yes, I know it's Wednesday... but on Monday.. i had a full on breakdown in work. HOW EMBARRASSING!! Cue lots of slobbering..tears and snotty nose rants! FML. I have fabulous work mates though, who helped me through the craziness that i literally still cannot explain, or rationalize why it happened all of a sudden!!? But that's in the past now and I had a wonderful day yesterday in work! Yeah! But enough about work..

New lust list.. dunno why for the second time I've only put 4 items on, as i am lusting after hundreds.. laziness?  For some reason it won't let me upload it.. BOO! So i shall try again later.

Today, I am waiting on my friend Vicky so that we can hit up town, have some delish food and go to the cinema. Gona see Friend's With Benefits!! Lots of perving on JT! Woo! Also, excited for said girly date as it's been forever and a day since we've had one! Damn you working life! While I'm waiting, I'm attempting to do some nail art, á la Gem Fatale... seen this in her wonderful Tuesday Tips and thought I'd give it a whirl.. i don't normally do falsies either but I'm always up for trying new things... I shall post about it when I'm finished.. with some photos to go along with it! I'm pining after all the A/W stuff in the shops atm.. oh to be rich! Sigh!

Also, need to start house hunting soon too...I've been in Cardiff almost a year and our contract in the current house is soon up!  I dread packing up my wardrobe as currently i have MASSSSSIVE wardrobes that fit all my things in perfectly! I fear that the new house is going to be nowhere near as beautiful as the current house and all my belongings will be crammed in suitcases for a long time.. but i shan't focus too much on that! PMA is the way forward!!

On a completely different note.. how amaze are these boots! Seen them a while ago on a blog (whose name I forget- Sorry! :( but how fab are they!?)

DIM- did it myself!

Hello lovely people!!

So.. few photos of the bits and bobs I've bought over the last week...

So, we have a few from primarni (coat, boots and hat) cat print dress and leopard print shirt from new look.. topppers dress, converse and the lovely little bracelet is from urban outfitters.. Oh how I love Urban O!!

Today.. I've been nursing a hangover.. did a bit of a pub/club crawl round Cardiff last night, involving lots of gin, jagermeister and dancing! Ventured into "Reflex" for the first ever time just to see what it was like! Description: CHEESY CHEESY CHEESY! But i LOVED it! I was strolling around with giant love heart sunglasses and a blow up microphone! Classy bird! The music was extremely cheesy too, but fabulous! Did feel like a bit of a "youngster" but my friend Leanne and I just danced the night away...before we moved on!

Hangover outfit today consists of leggings, Jack Wills hoodie and fluffy socks! Lush!

While nursing said hangover..i took part in some DIY! My effort was really just marking points to be cut and holding things...but nevertheless... i DIM! Thoroughly enjoyable hobby and helped to shake some of this stinking hangover!! DIY fans???

Anyone bought any little gems recently? I have a million more things that i want but funds do not allow such things at the minute!! Boo!!
